Losinj island and the town of Mali Losinj
The Losinj island is among the most interesting sites of Croatia and the sunniest places in Europe. It has an outstandingly rich, subtropical vegetation, and inner, untouched areas of nature. It’s more exciting than many other islands in the region. It has a lot of herbs. The air is very healthy and especially good for those with respiratory problems and allergies. The island has numerous wonderful sections of shore. One of them is on the online top list of the best Croatian beaches. It’s Veli Zal Beach which is in the Suncana Uvala (Sunny Gulf) only one kilometre southwest of Mali Losinj.
Mali Losinj is the largest settlement and tourist centre of the island. It has a long, wide promenade. There are several sights on its narrow, cobbled streets. These are just a few steps from the port. In the evenings the town is still lively, many people walk around searching for a good restaurant, or staring at the sunset above the small fisherboats. You can shop in two shopping centres and numerous vegetable and fruit shops. Nearby, you’ll find the first bottlenose dolphin reservation of the Adriatic Sea with a population of 120 dolphins. Mountain bikers can enjoy a 30 km long bikeway of medium difficulty.

Mali Losinj is the most significant centre of the Croatian archipelago. It’s a cosy Mediterranean town in a fantastic location. Its port is a picturesque view with terrace inns and cafes all around. The port is on the northern side of the gulf right next to the Privlaka alley. There are 150 anchoring places with available water and electricity for each, a petrol station, water block, laundry, a service department, a diving centre, and a sailors’ shop with a variety of products only 500 metres away. ACI Cres
The port of Cres is located in the centre of one of the largest but least inhabited islands. It is a popular destination among those who love the unspoiled nature and sailing. The giant bay has 6-meter-deep waters, it can accept 458 boats and they offer 120 dry docks here as well. It is perfectly equipped and has everything you may need.
Marina of Punat
You will find everything in one place at Marina Punta. The port is equipped perfectly and always provides those who sail in the area with a relaxation opportunity. The marina lies on the North of Rab Island. The ACI Marina provides modern and high-quality services in Rab. There is a gas station close to the marina. If your yacht needs repairing or maintenance or you need to purchase any necessary equipment, you can all do these here in one place. There are 142 wet berths. The maximum draught is 5 m and the top length of yachts can be 20 m. There are free Wi-Fi, bathrooms and showers. In the neighbourhood, pleasant restaurants and cafés attract hungry visitors.

The Marina Novalja is located in the northern part of the island of Pag in the Adriatic Sea. Marina Veli Rat
The Marina Veli Rat is on the North-West side of the Dugi Otok Island in Croatia. It lies about 30 km from Zadar, the Dalmatian capital city. There are 207 berths in the calm marina for yachts with a length of 20 m, the maximum depth is 3.5 m. Although it is a small town the marina is quite modern and clean. You can use free Wi-Fi, and clean and modern bathrooms and showers. Moreover, you can book a table in nice bars and restaurants nearby.
Sali Marina
Sali Marina lies on the southeastern part of the Dugi Otok Island, in about 20 km from Zadar. There are 90 berths, all supplied with electricity and water. The maximum length of the yachts is 70 m, and the depth of the water is 4 m. Regarding facilities, you can find bathrooms and showers here and emergency services, dentist and post office in the town.
Port of Rabac
It lies in a natural bay at the foot of Labin on the Eastern shore of Istria. The Port of Rabac is armed by a 450-metre natural coastal wall that protects it from the northern and eastern winds, unfortunately from the southern winds not. The port of Pula had a significant role in the life of the town as early as in ancient times. It is located in a giant natural bay. They have 200 berths for mega yachts with a length of up to 40 metres. It is perfectly equipped: they have laundry, ATM and currency exchange. Sailing in Mali Losinj: A one-week sailing route suggestion from Mali Losinj in the Gulf of Kvarner
The recommended route is a round trip, thus, you can start in either direction depending on the wind.
Day 1. Mali Losinj – Unije
25, 43 km (15, 80 mi)
It’s the largest inhabited island in Mali Losinj’s vicinity. The island of silence, peace, and sunlight. It’s known for the Vnetak lighthouse. Don’t forget to rent diving gear, the water is very clear in the gulfs. The island has a huge, long spreading, pebbly beach, it’s the most famous one here. Day 2. Unije – Susak

The island has only one small village called Susak. Here you can find beautiful shores with smooth sand, just like on the other parts of the island. Since Susak is a sand island, the wine here has a unique taste completely different from wines made of grapes grown in stony soil. Islanders speak a dialect that even Croatians don’t understand, and they wear traditional costumes at festivities. Most tourists don’t know about the island, so don’t miss the chance to explore this hidden gem yourself!
Day 3. Susak – Opatija (Pag)

The capital of Pag Island, Pag, would only be accessible from the notorious Velebit canal which has the danger of bora in one-third of the year. On Pag’s western side, only Novalja is suitable for mooring. Novalja has a great nightlife full of parties, it’s the favourite place for young people. For those who like diving, the peak of Pag could be interesting. Spend the night in the town’s port.
Day 4. Novalja – Lopar (Rab-island)

Many call it the most beautiful island in the Gulf of Kvarner. It’s full of picturesque gulfs and gorgeous beaches. You can meet deer and mouflons as well. Several small islands are near Rab such as the Golits and Grgur. It’s a huge experience to discover them.
Day 5. Lopar – Punat (Krk-island)
