Opatija’s port is on the northern side of the peninsula of the Angiolina Park and the open-air stage. It’s hard to find a free place, but if you’d stop only for a short time, you can do so on the outer side of the embankment. The other port of the town lies in front of the modern building block of the Hotel Admiral. With mooring here, you have resort to every service of the elegant hotel. Well-maintained parks, fine frontages, high-quality cafés and restaurants, and their impeccable service add up to the sense of aristocracy. Since then the town became a famous holiday resort for the upper ten thousand. The breath-taking panorama, crystal clear water, and lots of green space had such an attraction that tourists kept coming even in the dark times of war.
