After handover, the first hop is timed for a fair ebb out of the Trinité river, with Houat or Hoëdic the natural place to bring up. Nantes Atlantique (NTE) and Lorient (LRT) airports are each a road transfer, whichever suits the marina better. The bay, the cliffs of Belle-Île and the Morbihan are a week of tide-planned legs, the Belle-Île crossing set for slack water, so plan the turnaround early enough that a foul tide cannot pin the last leg. The Glénan islands and the Lorient coast are the longer, more exposed run, one to save for more than a week.
