What is the best month to sail Ischia Island?

The best time is from May to October. If you listen to me, you’ll choose June or September: the weather is still (or already) perfect, the sea is warm, and there are no crowded ports or noisy tourist crowds.
In spring (March-May):
This period is like a new beginning. The air is fresh, the island is in bloom, and the beaches are still empty. The temperature is around 15-22°C, ideal for those who want to sail in the silence of nature. The winds are gentler at this time – great for beginners and for leisurely hiking.
Summer (June–August):
This is the classic Mediterranean summer. Hot days (25–32°C) and warm seas are great for swimming, but expect the marinas and restaurants to be crowded. Autumn (September–November):
September is one of the most beautiful months in Ischia – at least in my opinion. The sea water is still pleasant, the weather is balanced (20–28°C), and the tourists are already heading home. Winter (December–February):
Now this is the advanced level. Temperatures range from 10–16°C, it rains more often, and many services are suspended. How can you get to Ischia Island from abroad?
- Fly to Naples International Airport (Capodichino Airport) – This is the closest major airport to Ischia, with daily international flights.
- From here you can take a transfer from Naples Airport to the port – Taxis, shuttle buses or private cars are also available. Depending on the city traffic, you can get there in 15-30 minutes.

Day 2: Capri – Amalfi
