Find catamaran routes in Australia or choose another catamaran charter in South Pacific.
Australia is a huge country, so it has a considerable climatic variety. The northern section of Australia has a more tropical influenced climate. It is hot and humid in the summer and quite warm and dry in the winter. The southern parts are cooler with mild summers and cool, sometimes rainy winters. Even non-desert areas of Australia are subject to sudden increases in temperature, caused by winds coming from the desert. Being in the Southern Hemisphere, the seasons are the opposite of those in the Northern Hemisphere. December and January are the hottest months in Australia. July and August are the coldest. In general, summer daytime temperatures are usually between 25 and 30°C and winter temperatures are between 5 and 10°C.
