Guadeloupe has a stable year-round tropical climate, like other islands in the Caribbean. On the coast, the climate is generally sunny and pleasant year-round. Average temperatures on the islands vary usually from 23º to 30º C. The relatively cool and dry season lasts from December to March, the daily average temperature is around 24 ºC. From April to October the daily averages are around 28 °C. Rainfalls are more frequent from May to November, and less frequent and shorter from December to April. Hurricanes may occur from August to October.
