The 4 cabin’s crewed luxury motor yacht Azimut Magellano 66 was built in 2017 and it is docked in Tribunj, Croatia. The main equipment (find the complete list on the ’Equipments’ tab): GPS chart plotter, bathing platform, bimini top, autopilot, bow thruster, hot water, dinghy, electric anchor windlass and it’s obligatory extras: apa (advance provisioning allowance), bedlinen and towels, fun package, crew, final cleaning. The main sail is full batten. You can check-in from 17:00 h and check-out until 09:00 h.
Why charter this Azimut Magellano 66
4 cabins for 8 berths means about 2 guests per cabin, so bag storage and sleeping turns are clear before departure. 2.7 guests per head matters on early marina mornings, when showers, breakfast and casting off compete for time. At 20,2 m, this luxury motor yacht needs earlier berth planning and more turning room in busy marinas.
Best charter fit
Azimut Magellano 66 suits crews comparing cabin separation, luggage storage and bathroom timing across 4 cabins and 3 heads. Motor cruising can cover more stops in a day, so fuel range, berth timing and return distance need checking before departure.
The Šibenik archipelago and the Kornati from Tribunj
Tribunj is a picture of old Dalmatia, a fishermen’s village on a tiny islet joined to the shore by a stone bridge, its harbour still lined with working boats, right beside Vodice. A first hop to Prvić or the bays of Murter stays well out of the swell and makes an easy start. Zadar Airport (ZAD) is a 50–75-minute road transfer, and Split (SPU) is about the same. The near archipelago of Prvić, Zlarin and Kaprije offers enough short, sheltered sailing to fill most of a week without a long passage. The crossing out to the Kornati is the one leg that needs a calm day, so keep the final day among the near islands. The park requires a ticket and anchoring is limited to marked bays, so plan the visit ahead. The outer Kornati and Žut lie further offshore; reaching them adds more open-water miles and a longer return, so that extension is better suited to a two-week itinerary.
