Why charter this Bavaria Voyager 45
4 cabins for 8 berths means about 2 guests per cabin, so bag storage and sleeping turns are clear before departure. 2.7 guests per head matters on early marina mornings, when showers, breakfast and casting off compete for time. At 14,5 m, this sailing yacht works best when swim stops still leave time for the evening berth.
Best charter fit
Bavaria Voyager 45 suits crews comparing cabin separation, luggage storage and bathroom timing across 4 cabins and 3 heads. Sailing crews should keep one fallback leg for wind shifts, late sea state and the final marina return.
The north Dalmatian channels and the Kornati from Biograd
Biograd, an old Croatian coronation town, sits at the southern end of the Pašman channel, a short gateway to the sheltered water behind the islands. If the handover leaves the afternoon, a Pašman cove such as Tkon makes a first anchorage, sheltered unless a strong bora gets up; otherwise start in the morning. Zadar Airport (ZAD) is a 25–35-minute road transfer, and Split (SPU) is the longer drive. The sheltered channels behind Pašman and little Vrgada lead north-west toward the near edge of the Kornati, the open crossing to the park saved for a calm window and the last day kept among the near islands, with the park’s entry fee and marked-bay anchoring to sort ahead. Further out, Žut, the outer Kornati and the Dugi Otok cliffs make a longer run, best saved for a trip once the wind eases.
