A week is spent among the coves and clear water of the bay, all in short day passages; the open coast east toward Guanabara Bay and Búzios is a longer, exposed haul that wants settled conditions and an early turnaround, so keep the return in hand. The Rio coast beyond is open, exposed water, better saved for a longer charter.
