The 6 cabin’s crewed motorsailer Scorpios was built in 2023 and it is docked in Krilo, Croatia. The Scorpios (2023) can accommodate up to 12 people in 6 cabins and it has 6 toilets. The overall length of the boat is 171 ft / 52,0 m. The main equipment (find the complete list on the ’Equipments’ tab): air condition, stand up paddle (sup) and it’s obligatory extras: apa (advance provisioning allowance). The main sail is self tacking jib. You can check-in from 17:00 h and check-out until 09:00 h.
Why charter this Scorpios
6 cabins for 12 berths means about 2 guests per cabin, so bag storage and sleeping turns are clear before departure. 2 guests per head matters on early marina mornings, when showers, breakfast and casting off compete for time. At 52 m, this motorsailer needs earlier berth planning and more turning room in busy marinas.
Best charter fit
Scorpios suits crews comparing cabin separation, luggage storage and bathroom timing across 6 cabins and 6 heads. Motor cruising can cover more stops in a day, so fuel range, berth timing and return distance need checking before departure.
The central Dalmatian islands from Krilo
Krilo Jesenice is a working fishing and shipbuilding village on the shore between Split and Omiš, an unshowy place to start from but a quick one: Split Airport (SPU) is only a short drive, with Zadar (ZAD) the longer way in from the north. After handover you can cross to the near bays of Brač, or over to Šolta, without a long first leg. You stay close among Brač, Šolta and lavender-scented Hvar, the channels short and mostly sheltered. Vis and Korčula lie further out on more open water, so save them for a settled day and turn for home in good time. Lastovo and the far islands are longer, open crossings, better saved for a trip with more time in hand.
