Why charter this Sun Odyssey 32i
2 cabins for 4 berths means about 2 guests per cabin, so bag storage and sleeping turns are clear before departure. 4 guests per head matters on early marina mornings, when showers, breakfast and casting off compete for time. At 9,6 m, this sailing yacht suits short hops and small berths, but chop makes the ride wetter sooner.
Best charter fit
Sun Odyssey 32i suits crews comparing cabin separation, luggage storage and bathroom timing across 2 cabins. Sailing crews should keep one fallback leg for wind shifts, late sea state and the final marina return.
Zadar’s island channels and the Kornati from Zadar
Zadar is worth a first evening ashore for the Roman Forum, the Sea Organ that sighs with the swell, and the mirrored Greeting to the Sun. On the water the choice is between the close island chain and the more exposed Kornati farther out. Zadar Airport (ZAD) is a 15–25-minute road transfer; if the handover then finishes with daylight to spare, there is time for a first afternoon across to Preko on Ugljan or Veli Iž, otherwise a first night in Zadar. Split (SPU) works too if the flight connections are more convenient. The close channels offer sheltered day sailing for much of a week. The Kornati National Park requires a ticket, and anchoring is restricted to marked bays. The run out to the Kornati is best saved for a light-wind day, so keep the final day in the near channels. Going farther into the outer Kornati and toward the Telašćica cliffs means longer, more exposed legs, better suited to more time than a week.
