Why charter this Bavaria S36 Open
2 cabins for 4 berths means about 2 guests per cabin, so bag storage and sleeping turns are clear before departure. 4 guests per head matters on early marina mornings, when showers, breakfast and casting off compete for time. At 10,8 m, this motor yacht works best when swim stops still leave time for the evening berth.
Best charter fit
Bavaria S36 Open suits crews comparing cabin separation, luggage storage and bathroom timing across 2 cabins. Choose it for short hops or swim stops where boarding access, seating and deck storage matter more than sail handling.
Krk, Cres and the Kvarner from Punat
Punat lies in one of the most sheltered bays in the Adriatic, on the island of Krk, with the wooded islet of Košljun and its monastery in the middle, an unhurried place to start. If the handover leaves daylight, a cove near the base makes a practical first night; if not, the morning start is the better call. Rijeka Airport (RJK) is 35–50 minutes by road, with Pula (PUY) the longer drive across Istria. Krk, Cres and Rab link on legs mostly under eight miles, the bora off the Velebit the one constraint that shapes the route, so keep the exposed stretches for a favourable spell. Take the more sheltered Rab Channel for the return and start back before the last day, so a bora blow is unlikely to leave you pinned far from base.
