The 4 cabin’s bareboat sailing yacht Elan Impression 45 was built in 2017 and it is docked in Izola, Slovenia. The main equipment (find the complete list on the ’Equipments’ tab): autopilot, bimini top, hot water, electric anchor windlass and it’s obligatory extras: transitlog. The main sail is furling/roll. You can check-in from 17:00 h and check-out until 09:00 h.
Why charter this Elan Impression 45
4 cabins for 8 berths means about 2 guests per cabin, so bag storage and sleeping turns are clear before departure. 4 guests per head matters on early marina mornings, when showers, breakfast and casting off compete for time. At 13,9 m, this sailing yacht works best when swim stops still leave time for the evening berth.
Best charter fit
Elan Impression 45 suits crews comparing cabin separation, luggage storage and bathroom timing across 4 cabins and 2 heads. Sailing crews should keep one fallback leg for wind shifts, late sea state and the final marina return.
Piran and the Slovenian Riviera from Izola
Izola is an old fishing town midway along Slovenia’s coast, which is barely thirty miles end to end yet packs in the Venetian campanile and squares of Piran, the working harbour of Koper and the Sečovlje salt pans before the shore becomes Croatian Istria. Trieste Airport (TRS), over in Italy, is a 60–80-minute road transfer, with Ljubljana (LJU) the longer drive. After handover, the first day is less about mileage than which town to tie up in for the evening, an easy hop to Piran or Koper. Within a few days you have crossed into Croatia to Novigrad and Poreč, harbour to harbour; the distances are so short that the forecast sets the pace more than the chart, and the sail home is a short one. The Kvarner islands are the real haul south, better saved for a longer cruise.
