The Kvarner is the committing move, more open fetch than the west-coast legs and lumpy in an afternoon breeze, so cross in settled conditions and keep the return leg well clear of your final day. Reaching Cres and Lošinj beyond means committing to that open water twice over, which turns a week into something longer.
