Why charter this Lagoon 450 - 4 + 2 cab.
4 cabins for 8 berths means about 2 guests per cabin, so bag storage and sleeping turns are clear before departure. 2 guests per head matters on early marina mornings, when showers, breakfast and casting off compete for time. At 14 m, this catamaran works best when swim stops still leave time for the evening berth.
Best charter fit
Lagoon 450 - 4 + 2 cab. suits crews comparing cabin separation, luggage storage and bathroom timing across 4 cabins and 4 heads. The catamaran beam is useful at anchor, but marina planning needs wider berth options and earlier docking choices.
Bay of Palma sailing from Can Pastilla
Can Pastilla’s advantage is position: a resort strip on the east side of the Bay of Palma, minutes from the airport and quick to provision, with the bay and the south coast opening straight off the marina. After handover, Cala Blava or Illetes make sensible first anchorages, or a short loop of the bay itself fills a late-starting afternoon. Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is a 10–15-minute road transfer. The Bay of Palma, the south-coast calas and Cabrera are a week of short runs, the sailing mostly sheltered. The crossing to Cabrera is the one longer leg, and its national-park moorings are capped and need booking well ahead, so plan it early rather than for the last day.
