Sukošan’s draw is logistics: the marina here is one of the biggest on the Adriatic, so a crew can store ship and be clear of the dock inside an hour of the handover. The natural line of the week is south-west down the inside of Ugljan and Pašman to the Telašćica bight on Dugi Otok, half-day legs the whole way and rarely a mile of open water. Zadar Airport (ZAD) is the nearest on the coast, 15–25 minutes by road. The Kornati park itself, reached by one exposed crossing that wants fair weather and carries an entry fee, sits best around mid-week. Push out to the far chain and the ocean cliffs beyond and the sailing turns properly offshore.
