From the pontoon it is a short reach to the coves of Ugljan, an unhurried first afternoon unless the bora is blowing, with a late finish easily held at the berth. The natural line of the week is south-west down the inside of Ugljan and Pašman to the Telašćica bight on Dugi Otok, half-day legs the whole way and rarely a mile of open water. Zadar Airport (ZAD) is the nearest on the coast, 15–25 minutes by road. The Kornati park itself, reached by one exposed crossing that wants fair weather and carries an entry fee, sits best around mid-week. Push out to the far chain and the ocean cliffs beyond and the sailing turns properly offshore.
