What does a crewed motor yacht charter mean?
There are several types of motorboats and powerboats. There is a wide range of vessels available on the market; smaller ones and super boats, watercrafts built from different materials and driven by different propulsion systems.
This type of holiday is actually nothing, but a swimming hotel, where you and your family or your partner are the only guests. You have nothing to do, but relax, while the crew will fulfill all your wishes. A professional captain will navigate the yacht on a route that you have determined.
How does crewed motor yacht charter work?
You can enjoy your holiday on motor yachts with all-inclusive service and a friendly and professional crew who work on making your trip relaxing and enjoyable. Going on holiday with a crew makes it possible for you to relax fully. The most superb thing about it is that you don’t have to worry about the yacht’s operation, because there you have the crew taking care of it.
This is nothing else, but luxury sailing that focuses on comfort, location and relaxation in a beautiful environment. Forget about too busy ocean liners and rather imagine sailing with a luxury sailing boat or a mega-yacht in the open sea. There is no need for experience, all you need is being committed to this fantastic leisure time.
Who do we recommend the crewed motor yacht charter to?
Regardless of whether you are an adrenaline junkie or have a large family, you will definitely find the perfect model that satisfies all your needs. Skim across the waters with crazy speed and draw the attention of the people sunbathing on the beach, or just enjoy the sunshine yourself peacefully on the deck. Motorboats offer you the opportunity to access parts only available on the sea – you can explore all the hidden gems nature has to offer. Some models are designed for use in shallow waters so that you can approach or even dock on a small remote island.
A crewed motor yacht charter holiday is a wonderful choice both individually and for couples and families. You can have great adventures through sea explorations and you can gain experiences for life through a program or city sight. This type of sailing is a really ideal choice for sea lovers who want quality holidays. You can be an experienced sailor, but you also deserve calm and relaxation! Let others take the direction, sit back and enjoy the rhythm of waves. Besides that, also those can give it a try who are just learning about yachts because the crew will surely take care of everything.
Did you know this about motorboats?
We distinguish the front part (bow) and the rear part (stern) of every powerboat and motorboat. Another part is the hull, which practically means the bottom of the boat, and there is also an upper part located above the hull. In addition to the ones mentioned above, every boat has its unique parts that all have a distinctive nautical name. Before delving into the topic of motorboat types, let us take a look at the basic components that constitute motorized vessels. The most advanced recreational motorboats are made of fibre-reinforced plastic, or in other cases, aluminium.
Larger boats such as motorized yachts and mega yachts are usually made of fibreglass, aluminium or steel. Manufacturers use a casting mould during production, which is filled with resin amongst other materials. In some other cases, the vacuum is used to remove the excess resin. This is usually stronger and provides for a lighter hull. It is extremely strong but needs to be applied in multiple layers for its full potential. This results in extra weight which can influence the performance of the powerboat. In order to solve this problem, manufacturers often insert a foam material between two layers of fibreglass.
