Renting a catamaran in Sibenik and discovering the islands of Dalmatia, or enjoy the National Park of Krka? We will find the perfect boat for you. North Dalmatia is regarded as quite safe and convenient for boaters. In addition, the ports are very close to each other. Both the smaller, barely unpopulated and the bigger islands stretch along the mainland in smaller groups. Culinary experiences, diving, peaceful evening strolls can also be added to your sailing trip; and all in an amazing natural environment. You can explore the islands during a single centre tour; even though, it is a great idea too to organise a one-week trip in the region.

Location of Sibenik

Dalmatia can be found in travel books as the most beautiful region of Croatia. This is where Sibenik is, not too far from Trogir, next to the mountainous region. Sibenik is Croatia’s third-largest port city. Its location is fantastic and it has such natural values that everyone should see once in his/her life. Sibenik is a special city because, like most cities at the Adriatic Sea in the Middle Ages, it wasn’t built on the coast, but at a river. Its special feature is that the river with freshwater flows into the salty seawater at Sibenik, as it doesn’t lie directly at the beach, but at the river Krka.

Can you rent a yacht in Sibenik- do I need a license? The requirements.

Small boats (under a certain horsepower or length), electric boats, crewed yacht charters and gulet charters may not require a license. Larger boats or those with more powerful engines need a skipper’s license. Before you confirm your sailing trip to Sibenik, please send us a copy and we will check it for you. You need to have the original copies on board, so don’t forget to take them.
To sail in Croatia, one of the following qualifications is necessary: • ICC (International Certificate of Competence), International, with valid Navigational and VHF licenses Prerequisites: RYA “Day Skipper Course” or complete the ICC Assessment form to prove competence from previous experience.
If you do not have a skipper license, it is also possible to rent a yacht with a skipper
