Location of Rogoznica
Rogoznica is in Dalmatia, which is among the most beautiful Croatian regions. The town lies about halfway between Sibenik and Trogir, on a peninsula. Earlier it was an island, but eventually, they built a dam connecting it to the mainland. Thus, Rogoznica is divided into an island (Kopara) and the mainland (Kopaca).

The restaurant and bar are open from May to October, but the port is open all year round. However, in July and August, yachts arriving late are often unable to find a berth. Beaches in Rogoznica
There are many fine beaches in Rogoznica. The seaside is nearly 54 km long, so you can probably find a suitable place among the sand, pebble, and rocky beaches.
Miline:
One of the most popular beaches thanks to its location – in the town’s centre – and diversity. It has sand, pebble, and rock sections. It’s especially favoured by families because it’s in a sheltered gulf where the sea deepens gradually.
Sepurine:
The largest beach is called Sepurine. It has a blue flag rating, meaning that the clearness of water is excellent here. Besides that, it’s well equipped with all things necessary for having a good time.

Gradina Peninsula:
This gorgeous peninsula has several places worth visiting. For example, the church of Our Lady of Kapelica was built in 1776. Every year since 1887 they celebrate her day on the 2nd of July. At this time there was a smallpox outbreak in the town, in which many died. In memory of these people, there’s an annual boat march, when hundreds of boats and thousands of believers march from the parish church to the cape of the Gradina Peninsula. Another remarkable sight of the peninsula is Zmajevo Oko (The Eye of the Dragon), a lake filled with seawater. Its name is because, from a certain angle, it resembles the eye of a waking dragon. The lake itself is 150 m long and 70 m wide.
